To delete a blog you need to go to Tools > Delete Blog inside the blog dashboard you want deleted.
What you need to know:
- An email confirmation step is required to delete your blog.
- The email is sent to the email address shown in Settings > General
- Spam filters, especially strict ones for institutional email addresses, often block these type of emails. If you don’t receive the email, and have checked your email spam folder, you’ll need to change the email address in Settings > General to a free webmail account such as gmail, hotmail that don’t block these emails.
- If you delete your blog you won’t be able to get it back and no one, including you, will be able to use that blog address (URL) again.
- Do NOT delete a blog to create a new username — this won’t work! Refer to these instructions to create a new username.
- If unsure, do NOT delete your blog. There is no limit on the number of Edublogs you can have. It’s better to keep the blog and use as a test blog.
