Your site title and tagline are one of the first things someone sees when visiting your site.

Site Title

The site title is displayed in the title bar of a web browser and in the header of most themes.

Your site title can be anything to describe your site and doesn’t have to be the same as your URL or username.

You change your title as follows:

1.  Go to Settings > General.

2.  Change the Site Title.

3.  Click Save Changes.

Tagline

Your tagline is a short description or catchy phase to describe what your site is about.  Some themes display the tagline in the header or the sidebar.

You change your tagline as follows:

1.  Go to Settings > General.

2.  Change the Tagline.
