Press this is a bookmarklet that you can add to your browser’s toolbar and use to quickly share text, images or videos from any website via a post from your blog without having to visit your blog dashboard.

You just click on the Press This button in your browser toolbar when you see something you want to publish from your blog!

Installing the Press This bookmarklet is as simple as:

1.  Enable your Bookmarks toolbar or Favorites bar in your web browser.

  •  Bookmarks toolbar (Chrome and FireFox) or favorites bar (Internet Explorer)

1.  Go to Tools > Available Tools.

2.  Drag the Press this bookmarklet button to the bookmarks/favorites area of your web browser.

  • Appearance in your web browser toolbar varies depending on which web browser you are using.


Add Text Using Press This 

Adding text from a website is as easy as:

1.  Highlight the text you want to quote.

2. Click on the Press This button in your browser toolbar.

Click Press This

3.  A pop up publishing window will appear.

4.  Now all you have to do is change your title, add your own text, categories, tags.

5.  Click Save Draft to save the post or Publish to share immediately.

Add Images using Press This

Press This can also be used to easily add images from websites.

To add images you just:

1.  Click on the picture frame icon below the title of your post in the Press This publishing window.

Click on Image Icon

2.  Click on the image you want to add to  your post.

Click on image

3.  Add description of image and click Insert Image.

4.  Now all you have to do is change your title, add your own text, categories, tags.

5.  Click Save Draft to save the post or Publish to share immediately.

Click Publish
