Jetpack adds over 20 new blocks to your block editor when the Jetpack plugin is set up on your site.

The following is an overview of the currently available Jetpack Blocks:

Business Hours

The Business Hours block allows you to display the times you are available.

Once added use the Open/Closed toggle switch to show a day as closed, edit the time field to adjust the time or click on Add Hours to enter additional hours.

Click outside of the Business Hours block after you’ve made the changes and you’ll see an approximation of how the block will display on your site.

Calendly

Calendly block allows your visitors to schedule one-on-one appointments, group events, and team meetings directly from your website.

You need a Calendly account to use this block.

Contact Info

The Contact Info block allows you to add your contact information such as email address, physical address, phone number to any post or page.

It consists of three child blocks:

  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address

You can reorder the child blocks, remove child block you don’t need or add additional child blocks (helpful for situations where you want to list several email addresses or phone numbers).

Add your details, enter your full address and toggle on “Link Address to Google Maps” if you want your address linked to a Google Map.

Eventbrite Checkout

The Eventbrite Checkout block allows you to embed Eventbrite events on posts or pages.

Gif

The GIF block allows you to search for and embed an animated GIF image from Giphy directly into a post or page.

Enter a search term for your GIF and click Search. This loads a row of thumbnail images with a large GIF below. The large GIF is what will be displayed in the post/page. Click on a thumbnail image select the GIF you want to display.

To change to a new GIF, enter your new search term and then click Search.

Google Calendar

The Google Calendar block allows you to embed a Google Calendar into your post or page.

You access your Google Calendar URL as follows:

1.Click on the More Option next to the Google Calendar you want to add.

Click on More options

2. Select Settings and Sharing.

3. Scroll down to access permissions and make sure it is set to “Make available to public”.

4. Scroll down to Public address to this Calendar and copy the URL.

Paste the URL into the Google Calendar block and then click Embed.

Image Compare

The Image Compare block allows you to display and compare the differences between two images side by side (or above and below) using a slider.

Click on Upload or Select Images to add your images. The block works best with two images of the same width and height.

Moving the slider allows the site visitor to compare the images.

Images can be compared side by side or above and below.

Mailchimp Block

The Mailchimp block allows you to add a Mailchimp sign up form to a post or page for visitors to join your Mailchimp list to receive updates via email.

Maps Block

The Map Block allows you to add a map to any post or page on your site.

You need an account with Mapbox.com to use this block.

Markdown Block

The Markdown block lets you compose posts and comments with links, lists, and other styles using regular characters and punctuation marks. Markdown is used by writers and bloggers who want a quick and easy way to write rich text, without having to take their hands off the keyboard, and without learning a lot of complicated codes and shortcuts.

OpenTable Block

The OpenTable Block allows you to add a reservation form to a post or page.

You need to have an OpenTable account to use this block.

Pinterest

The Pinterest block is the easiest way to embed Pinterest content in your site; it allows you to embed boards, profiles, and pins.

Enter the URL of the pin, board or profile you want to embed and then click Embed.

To change the embed, click in the block to enable the block toolbar, then click on Edit and enter the new URL.

Podcast Player Block

The Podcast Player block allows you to easily show your visitors a listing of recent episodes from a podcast and play them on your website.

The Related Posts Block is used to display related posts at the bottom of your posts.

Your site must have at least 10 published posts for related content to appear. Related content is automatically generated based on the content of the posts and any tags or categories assigned to your posts.

Repeat Visitor Block

The Repeat Visitor block allows you to add content to nested block(s) that only appears to a visitor before or after a threshold of visits is reached.

The following is designed to display a welcome message with a subscription from to only to people who have visited the page no more than 3 times.

Revue Block

The Revue block allows you to add a Revue sign up form to a post or page for visitors to join your Revue list to receive your newsletter.

You need a Revue account to use this block.

The Slideshow block is used to add an image slideshow to a post or page.

Star Rating Block

The Star Rating block allows the author of a post or page to add a rating to their reviews; it isn’t designed for visitor feedback or polling.

You can give a half star rating by clicking twice on a star.

Subscription Form Block

The Subscription Form Block allows you to insert a subscription form within the content area of any post or page, enabling your readers to get notifications when you publish new posts.

It is added to your block editor when you activate Jetpack’s Subscription module.

Tiled Gallery Block

The Tiled Gallery block is used to extend the types of image galleries you insert into posts and pages to include tiled mosaic, square mosaic or circular grid.
